Project Area:
The Cherry Creek study
area is located in Denver and Arapahoe counties. The entire study
area is approximately 12.2 miles long. The Cherry Creek watershed
flows northwesterly toward the South Platte River.
Project Goals:

Identify
existing flooding and drainage problems within the study area.

Obtain input
from the public, stakeholders, and the project sponsors to
develop feasible drainage solutions.

Pinpoint the
need for channel stabilization, stormwater conveyance, and stormwater quality
improvement measures.

Define the channel hydraulics and sediment
transport.
-
Prepare an Alternatives
Analysis, Draft Report, and Final Report.
